on this page are not for sale. They are commissions and
presented here only to demonstrate what can be done with photographs.
Jani accepts commissions
for almost any subject matter. For example, book covers, people, pets, houses, places, etc..
BOOK COVER ARTWORK
Please supply the
following information within the brief:

Exact Title

Author's name as it will
appear on the cover

Any other wording that
is to appear on the cover

Key elements of the
story
-
Detailed description of
the major characters
-
Detailed description of
the world in which the characters live

Describe the mood to be
portrayed on the cover. E.g., dark, dreary, foreboding, happy ever
after, romantic, etc.

Vivid detail of the
scene you want portrayed
-
Specify dimensions
needed
-
Provide deadline
$600 - $1000 (depending on the amount of
revisions requested)
PORTRAITS (Non-Commercial Commissions)
PORTRAIT FEES
$299 for a 30cm x 40cm
finished work.
Costs include postage within Australia.
Prints are not matted or
framed.
ORDERING A
PORTRAIT
A high-quality, clear
photograph/photographs will be a key to a successful finished artwork. The
better the clarity and resolution of the photograph/photographs you
supply, the better the final artwork.
Both traditional and
digital photographs are accepted. However, do not send your most
prized photo. Have it scanned as high as possible and send me the copy
instead.
PAYMENT
Payment in full is due
upon your inspection and approval of the final proof of your artwork
or portrait and before printing. You will be given a URL to use to
look at your finished artwork. If you like what
you see press the appropriate "buy now" button after which I
will email book covers or post commissioned
portraits to you when I have confirmed your payment.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Most commissions will be
completed within one week of accepting the commission.
I reserve the right to
refuse or cancel service to anyone I do not want to work with.
I reserve the right to
change my terms and agreement of service at any time.
If you don't like what
you see, don't pay for it and that ends any agreement we had.
Finished artwork is to
be accepted or refused within 48 hours of appearing on the URL
provided to the client.
Non-commercial portrait
artwork cannot be used for any commercial reason whatsoever. Nor can
it be copied by any means whatsoever.
Commercial artwork is
only to be used for the purpose for which it was created unless I
grant permission to do otherwise.
Like any artist who
creates art, I own the copyright of the finished artwork.
